Located in the prestigious historic district, Blessings on State is a short walk from many Jacksonville attractions and institutions. We are located just one block from Illinois College, Duncan Park and the Governor Duncan Mansion, and one and one half blocks from the Illinois School for the Deaf.

Housed in a beautiful 120-year-old Queen Anne home situated along a tree-lined street, Blessings on State is an inn with tremendous character of its own. Imagine walking in the footsteps of Mrs. Eliza Adams, the well-to-do widow for whom our historic home was built. Picture the trolley that traveled beneath the overhanging limbs of the beautiful elm trees that lined historic State Street in days gone by. Stroll along State Street and College Street and view magnificent homes that have stood the test of time. Enjoy your multi-course gourmet breakfast in our formal dining room, on the front wraparound porch, or in the gazebo in our back gardens.
